It is here, in the tangles of branches and softness of moss where most secretive of the Faerie live. Many things may lie in the turn of the path. Perhaps a cottage awaits where a wise woman will teach you the secrets of her garden. Or perhaps you will find a maiden enclosed within a coffin of glass, waiting in stillness for the touch of lips upon her own. Or perhaps you will find a castle surrounded by briar. It is within the forest that many adventures of Faerie begin. The strange mists that filter through the stillness often form into vague shapes of beasts and monsters, confusing and frightening the mortal traveler. This place is a place of illusions, of voices and sounds and seeings that will try to take the traveler from off her path, lead her into the forest, and make her forever lost within. Perhaps she will remember to gather pebbles to drop behind her as she investigates the strange and beautiful music that floats through the air with the mist.

Fairy Garden Fragrance: Dance of the Morning Nymphs

This blend is innocently exuberant -- a combination of heady rose, tangy lemon, and luscious green cardamom, splashed with a hint of vivacious bergamot mint. Shades of pale greens, pure yellows, and lavender make it a perfect gift for all new beginnings and spring celebrations.

Dried Flowers and Herbs:
2 cups yellow rosebuds
2 cups lemon verbena leaves
1 cup lavender flowers
1/2 cup bergamot mint leaves

Essential Oils:
20 drops lemon verbena oil
10 drops rose oil
5 drops lavender oil

Fixatives:
1/4 cup ground calamus root

Textured Elements
1/4 cup green cardamom pods

Finishing Touches:
1/2 cup primrose blossoms
1/2 cup wood sorrel blossoms
1/4 cup gold star confetti

Package the blend in a small cut-crystal bowl tied up with opulent lemon
yellow or pale green French ribbon.

I saw a similar recipe for a spring wand, You placed the ingredients in nylon net and then wrapped it around a budding branch of yellow birch ( fresh cut!0
Gonna miss these enchantments of yours, can i say yes to a new portal of magic? :)

the closest I can get is to buy myself a bunch of sweet smelling daffodil, which I love and know that spring will be here soon.

PS I agree with sorrow about another portal.

Oooo could use a little springtime here.
Gloomy and cold outside today.

I admit, your talk of spring is making me itch to go out and play and to fill vases with bouquets of bright flowers.

Today it will have to be painting of flowers with my feet in the fire and the princess cinnamon at my side. Snow is on the way ::sigh:: It is an inside day.

=^..^= love, diamond heart-daisy
(and the princess cinnamon)
